I’m known at work for frequently wearing shoes that have a bit of personality to them. When my shoes reflect my personality it makes me feel like I’ve found a way to make the dress code work for me. A pair of shoes that you really enjoy can put a bit of pep in your step and sometimes that is exactly what you need to get going in the morning. For formal events I really love letting my shoes accessorize my little black dress and bring out my fun side. When I do get to dress up for events I tend to pick shoes that are a bit crazier than I would be willing to wear all day at work. That said, I can’t even fathom wearing these for any length of time.
I saw these little beauties posted on a friend’s Facebook page and it blew my mind to think that someone out there is buying these. Where are they wearing these Julian Hakes Mojito shoes and how long could they possibly keep them on their feet? I can’t imagine that these shoes are known for having good support. They were designed by an architect so I shouldn’t be the least bit shocked that they are a piece of art on their own. They come in a wide array of fabulous colors for those of you who are daring enough to give them a try.
I’ll admit that I would love to find a place where I could at least try them on. At £139.99 plus shipping from overseas, I’m not so sure they land in my fashionably frugal budget. Still doesn’t take away from the fact that I’m fascinated by them and curious what they feel like to wear. What do you think about wearing these to work? Could you handle them for a day of your schedule?
