Only Three Days To Go!

Rebuilding Together and Rebuilding Together Orlando are overjoyed about this week’s big reveal.  On Thursday of this week Ms. Lipofsky’s home will be completed and she will once again have her independence back.  The contractor has been hard at work to get everything ready for the last bit of work that will be happening on Thursday and, with tools and materials that arrived from Grip-Rite, it looks like everything will be ready in time.  CBRE is excited to be providing some additional assistance and Rebuilding Together is excited to have them on board as well.

Late last week they work started on Ms. Lipofsky’s master bathroom.  The original contractor had used all the wrong materials in the shower and it needed to be gutted and started all over again.  The team has been working hard to make sure everything is as perfect as can be this time around.

It was exciting to swing  by on Thursday and see the shower tile work beginning.  The team has picked beautiful pieces that are all starting to come together in puzzle that Ms. Lipofsky is going to be proud to call her own very soon.  Here’s a sneak peak of the work as it was going on.  I don’t want to give away too much, but I can say that she’s going to feel like she’s at a luxurious resort every time she steps into that bathroom.

I’m looking forward on Thursday to capturing the excitement as it all unfolds!  If you’re interested in seeing more of the before and during construction photos then check out Rebuilding Together’s Flickr photo album.  This organization is making a big change in Ms. Lipofsky’s life, but she’s not alone so you can take a look at their blog if you want to read about just a few of the other lives they have touched.  They have helped thousands in the past through their affiliates.  If you are interested in getting involved in future projects then check out their affiliates and see if there is one near you.
